Real Estate Ready is committed to fair housing, anti-steering, and data protection.

Fair housing

We comply with all applicable fair housing legislation. Our matching algorithms do not discriminate based on race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Home seeker wishlists are matched to properties solely based on objective criteria (location, price, size, features).

Anti-steering

Real Estate Ready actively prevents steering by design. When home seekers receive property suggestions, they see ALL matching listings — not a curated subset selected by their agent. Agent commissions are never a factor in which properties home seekers see. Our explainable matching algorithm provides transparent scoring so home seekers understand why each property was recommended.

Data protection & privacy

We process personal data in accordance with PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) and applicable provincial privacy legislation. Seller data is shared only with explicitly authorised recipients via scoped, revocable share links. Home seeker demand data is anonymised before being shown to agents. We use Supabase with row-level security (RLS) to ensure data isolation at the database level.

Payment compliance

All payments are processed through Square, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We never store credit card numbers or sensitive payment data on our servers. Square handles tokenisation, encryption, and PCI compliance on our behalf.

RECO compliance

Real Estate Ready operates as a technology platform, not a brokerage. We do not provide real estate advice. Licensed agents on our platform are responsible for maintaining their own compliance with the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) and the Trust in Real Estate Services Act (TRESA).
